Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India is the decision making body to take-up Engineering Entrance Exam, every year. AIEEE is one of the most sought-after tests after IIT-JEE. This test opens avenues for about 50000 dexterous students every year. These students aim for admissions in some of the most reputed colleges, having diverse fields including Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture. AIEEE is not an easy competition and only those who perform well in entrance and secure a high ranking in the entrance-results will be called for counseling. Then also there is Central and State counseling on the basis of their ranks in ALL-India or State-rank. A candidate who has passed final 10+2 examination or equivalent is eligible to appear for the entrance test for the entrance test. Those students who are appearing for 10+2 boards can also enter into the qualifying list for entrance exam, but their admission is dependent on the mark sheet comprising minimum percentage. AIEEE-test tests the students in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the duration of test is 3 hours. Each test is of 180 marks, totaling to 540 in all. Minimum percentage is not enough to get the admission in desired Institute. Only those who score high have the choice of Colleges and Institutes. Those students who have scored high are counseled for their choice of Institutes and then low ranking students are called-for. Aspirants opting for Architecture are tested for their performance in Mathematics and Aptitude test to decide upon their performance. AIEEE Entrance Exam is not an easy test as perceived. It needs thorough knowledge of concepts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and then only a student can thrive for absolute success in it.
